Accident Reconstruction

     North Eastern Technical Services' Accident Reconstruction Team is headed by Mr. Dennis Burgess.

     The A.R.T. will travel to the accident scene, examine the scene and the vehicles involved, and provide a detailed report as to the exact circumstances of the accident. An accident reconstruction may also be obtained by mail if adequate photographs of the scene and vehicles are available, along with police reports and any witness statements. Staged Accidents
     Insurance claims for property and personal injury, involving staged collisions, are reaching epidemic proportions in this country.

     It is estimated that between 25% and 45% of all claims are false. Many of these claims can and should be investigated.

     It has been our past experience that many of these fraudulent claims go undetected, even though a simple common sense approach would reveal inconsistencies, such as paint transfer not matching the autos involved i.e.. black auto hit by white auto leaving yellow paint marks.

     Many of these types of accident investigations can be done from the normal procedures of the insurance company's appraisals.

     Some procedures need to be refined: take good, clear photos, general views, then close-ups, with a measuring tape (yard stick) in the photos.
