NETS has compiled an extensive photo library of both class characteristics and individual characteristics of tool marks made by keys in locks as well as by key duplication processes, picking, “gang” keys, etc.

This photo library is presently available in CD format only.  The cost is $120.

It is available to law enforcement agencies and members of investigative or teaching fraternities, i.e. IAIL, ALOA, AFTE, etc.

A letter on department stationary or proof of membership is necessary.  Initial notification of requests may be sent by e-mail, as the disks will be made up on a first come, first served basis.

We reserve the right to reject any request due to the sensitive nature of the material.
